ORION BASE SHIPPING (M) SDN BHD was established in 1995 as a fully licensed Malaysian-owned company in the shipping and forwarding agency business. It was intially formed to serve its main principal, Palmbase (M) Sdn Bhd, a commodity trading company providing in-house shipping services like ship husbandry, port agent, ship broker and to supervise cargo operations. The Company has since expanded to serve a wide variety of ship owned, managed or operated by international ship owners/operators.

The types of vessel that we serve include bulk carriers (for carriage of PKE, Cement Clinkers, Fertilizers, and Grains), conventional or general cargo ships (Projects Cargoes, Steel cargoes and Coils), barges, fishing vessels and cement silo vessel.
